Steam-distilled from fresh lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) grown in Southern Europe. True Melissa is one of the most expensive essential oils due to the very low yield — it takes an enormous quantity of delicate lemon balm leaves to produce a small amount of oil. Its light, fresh, lemony aroma is genuinely distinctive.
How to Use
A premium oil — use sparingly. Blends with lavender, rose, and bergamot. Dilute before topical use.
